EY Peru's labour practice advises on labour consulting, labour litigation and immigration matters. The team acts for clients across the oil-and-gas, mining, food and beverage, and banking sectors on a broad range of employment issues. The practice is co-led by José Ignacio Castro, who handles dismissals, terminations and other employment matters, and Mauro Ugaz, whose expertise includes collective bargaining. Fellow practice co-heads Miguel Rubio Ayllón and Valeria Galindo focus on labour disputes and immigration matters, respectively. Mauricio Matos Zegarra and Jaime Cuzquén Carnero are noted for their work on labour law mandates and negotiation processes in the oil-and-gas sector, while Adriana Lucia Gianotti advises on the structuring of employment contracts.
