Recognised for its ‘professionalism and quality’, EY Peru fields a 139-strong team to assist clients with a range of labour issues, including workforce management; compensation planning; collective bargaining; termination matters; and administrative and judicial procedures. José Ignacio Castro oversees the practice group, with experience spanning negotiations with unions, due diligence matters and procedures before the Superintendence of Labour Inspection (SUNAFIL). Co-heads of the team are also Mauro Ugaz and Mauricio Matos Zegarra, fronting the consulting area; Miguel Rubio Ayllon, head of litigation for the practice group who contributes expertise in due diligence, remuneration and recruitment plans; Valeria Galindo, an expert on immigration matters; and executive directors Jaime Cuzquén Carnero (labour inspections, occupational health and safety, collective bargaining), Adriana Lucia Gianotti (taxation, social security, immigration matters) and Lesli Ruiz Del Águila (litigation).
