Rodrigo’s environmental practice is known for its expertise in litigation, transactional and regulatory matters. The team is led by Francisco Tong, who has experience advising clients in administrative and judicial proceedings regarding environmental liabilities in the mining sector. Tong also assists clients with criminal investigations relating to alleged environmental impacts arising from water infrastructure projects. Also noted are Jenny Caldas, who has longstanding experience in the field and is well-versed in handling compliance matters concerning OEFA administrative measures; and Diego Pachas, who frequently assists clients with obtaining permit approvals for mining exploration projects.
