The rapidly expanding arbitration practice at Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uria operates across the transportation, energy, construction and water treatment sectors, among others. With experience in both domestic and international investment arbitration, the offering is co-led by Ramiro Portocarrero, who advises industrial clients on various commercial and governmental disputes, and Sebastián Basombrio, who handles financial and infrastructure-related cases. Principal associate Lisbeth Gárate is noted for her specialism in construction arbitration. Since publication, Portocarrero has left the firm – effective as of November 2024.
