Payet, Rey, Cauvi, Pérez Abogados has a robust practice offering in antitrust and competition law, with substantial experience in merger control, local and cross-border cases and representing clients in judicial and administrative antitrust litigation. The department assists and represents such industries as the energy, oil and gas, education, retail, shipping and healthcare sectors. The practice group is led by Carlos Patrón, who specialises in antitrust and has in-depth experience in both the analytical and regulatory issues related to competition law and has been actively involved in leading antitrust cases, including the most significant price-fixing investigations carried out in Peru. In addition, the team has two experienced partners, Julia Loret De Mola, who specialises in competition and consumer protection law and David Kuroiwa, whose expertise lies in antitrust and administrative law, as well as consumer protection. The group is further supported by associates Ana Lucía Figueroa, Marianna Vallvé and Luciana Márquez, who collectively have expertise in competition law and consumer protection law.
