Addleshaw Goddard’s Manchester team forms an integral part of the firm’s extensive national practice, offering a ‘strong level of service’ to local government bodies on energy, transport, public infrastructure, residential and entertainment development projects, with a focus on major transactions. The practice is jointly led by Andrew Pettinger, who is well versed in infrastructure, outsourcing and commercial transactions, and Michael O’Connor, who has extensive experience on projects in the healthcare and social services spaces, as well as on complex regeneration schemes. Further members of the practice include Sara Gilmore, who splits her time between Leeds and Manchester and handles a range of transport and regeneration projects, Stephanie Townley, who oversees remediation and the management of expiring PPP and PFI contracts and Rob Thompson, who focuses on the energy and infrastructure sectors. Bradley Martin left the practice in May 2024 to join Browne Jacobson LLP.
