Acted for an invoice factor (Penny Limited) recovering sums against a mix of the end debtor. The client who had the facility and directors who have provided guarantees, dealing with disputed claims, including fraud. Instructed on over 130 individual matters recovering close to £1m for the client.
Advised on the bulk recovery of ground rents for a UK Managing Agent, Estates & Management, resulting in circa £1m of monies recovered on behalf of landlords.
Acted for a client where the debtor, who was residing out of the jurisdiction, alleged that their signature was forged on the contract and that the invoices were fraudulent. The firm successfully obtained judgment, at trial, for circa £330,000, inclusive of costs.
