Alongside its focus on corporate and real estate law for clients across the retail sector, act legal Netherlands has a standout specialism in complex franchise law issues and commercial tenancy disputes. The firm frequently acts for leading fashion companies and food chains, as well as large franchisee associations, advising on financial settlements and the implementation of franchise law. The practice is led by Dirk van den Berg, an expert in commercial tenancy matters and franchise law. Katinka Verdurmen left the firm in October 2025.
