Under the guidance of Netherlands Head of Finance Niels de Ru, A&O Shearman places a strong emphasis on buy-to-let and residential mortgage securitisations and other consumer finance products, including auto loans. The firm also acts for banks on the issuance of covered bonds programs, an area of focus for Tom Reutelingsperger, and assists them in their capacity as arrangers for a variety of structured finance offerings. Aroen Kuitenbrouwer is well versed in real estate financing and also oversees the restructuring of existing loans. Natusia Szeliga tackles digital bonds issuances and structured credit portfolio deals. Gerard Kastelein departed the firm in November 2024.
