After more than 20 years at Hogan Lovells - much of it as head of the telecoms practice - Federico Hernández established specialist boutique FH Legal in early 2024. The team handles all aspects of the sector: technology (including AI and cybersecurity), media (including streaming services and mobile apps - notably as regards advertising), and telecoms - Hernández's core specialism - where the team handles matters ranging from fibre and frequency tenders to telecom tower acquisitions and financing. More generally, the team provides regulatory, corporate and contractual support and demonstrates particular skill in securing satellite-related authorisations and submissions to the National Information and Infrastructure System. September 2025 saw the arrival of counsel Paulina Vallejo who also has some 20 years' experience in the sector (notably at AT&T, Maxcom & Nextel), particularly as regards regulatory and litigious matters.
