ECIJA’s TMT department draws on expertise across a range of industries, including IT, entertainment, publishing and fintech, and advises on technology contracts, IP, and data privacy, among other matters. Managing partner Ricardo Chacón handles M&A, corporate and commercial matters in the TMT sector, while Joaquín Rodríguez focuses on data protection and e-commerce matters. Kaynicté Pérez is active in matters involving new technologies, internet, e-commerce, and sponsorship agreements. Berenice Sagaón is skilled in data protection, consumer protection, advertising, and IT mandates. The team was strengthened by the arrival of Miguel Ángel Carpio Pertierra, who also heads the firm’s IP department.
