Originally founded in 1884 in the silver-mining centre of Pachuca (Hidalgo), Sánchez-Mejorada, Velasco y Ribé S.C. operates today from offices in Mexico City and Monterrey. The firm is a long-standing market presence in the sector due to the deep expertise of senior partner Rodrigo Sánchez Mejorada Velasco, ‘an eminence in the sector’ according to peers, and whose past experience includes participating in the 1994 legislation that privatised the industry.
