The practice group at Kennedys is a key port of call for domestic and international insurers and reinsurers on in insurance disputes, and the team, which is lauded for its ‘significant technical experience in the sector’, is also equipped to provide advisory support on coverage issues. The practice is jointly led by Michael Hennessy, who acts as the firm’s managing partner for Latin America and Caribbean and specialises in claims involving liability, energy, business interruption, catastrophic risks and operational policies in Mexico; and litigation lead Alberto Torres, who draws on extensive insurance litigation experience.
