Founded in March 2024 by a group of six ex-partners at Creel Abogados, SC, Ibarra, del Paso y Gallego and Norton Rose Fulbright, Assembla operates an office in Mérida, in addition to its Mexico City headquarters. Nationally, the firm offers services across a broad range of practice areas, among them environment, life sciences, dispute resolution, banking and finance, corporate, and labour and employment. Co-founding partner and corporate practice co-head Andrés Nieto divides his time between Mérida and the capital; he focuses on banking and finance, capital markets, fintech, corporate and M&A, private equity and arbitration. We are saddened to report that co-founding partner Alfonso Razú, the office's resident partner, passed away in September 2025.
