From its offices in Mexico City and Mérida, Assembla provides broad-service legal advice to domestic and international clients across a diverse range of sectors. The group has developed capabilities spanning dispute resolution, banking and finance, corporate transactions, and labour and employment issues, among other areas. Co-founder Andrés Nieto, who directs the corporate practice and works between the firm’s two offices, advises on an array of transactional and financial matters, including banking and finance, capital markets, M&A and private equity investments. We are saddened to report that co-founding partner Alfonso Razú, the office’s resident partner, passed away in September 2025.
