Dispute resolution

NautaDutilh currently deploys a multi-disciplinary approach to litigation following the departure in June 2024 of former team head Antoine Laniez to CMS Luxembourg. IP/TMT expert Vincent Wellens now co-heads the team alongside corporate and restructuring expert Romain Sabatier. Wellens is also very active at handling administrative proceedings and corporate investigations, as is the ‘extremely skilled’ Ottavio Covolo. The team also enhances its resources by utilising the litigation skills of several Brussels-based lawyers who regularly handle Luxembourg-related matters.

Assists two foreign investors (Stati) in the enforcement of a $500m arbitral award rendered against Kazakhstan.
