Walker Morris LLP continues to restructure its sport practice following a series of departures throughout 2024, with Charlotte Smith heading up a new-look team. Smith has vast experience in employment law, and acts for a variety of Premier League and Football League clubs on their employment matters, including Leeds United, Burnley and Bournemouth. Carly Thorpe focuses her practice on construction disputes and has leveraged her expertise to support some of the firm’s clients on stadium, pitch and floodlighting issues. Sally Mewies and Philip Scott, senior partners from the wider firm, contribute to the sport offering.
