Offering the full spectrum of soft IP services from strategy and portfolio management, to M&A, litigation, and commercialisation work, Addleshaw Goddard welcomed a large number of team members from Stobbs IP throughout 2024 and 2025. IP disputes expert Geoff Steward stepped up to jointly lead the group alongside Georgina Powling, whose practice focuses on IP-based agreements, from licensing to R&D contracts. Joel McDonald, another arrival, leads on brand matters, and Emily Nuttall-Wood is a specialist in retail sector work. Rebecca Newman focuses on contentious instructions, notably those involving copyright, design rights, and unregistered rights, and Andana Streng focuses on the exploitation of rights and transactional matters. Emma Armitage left the firm.
