DLA Piper fields a robust and dedicated AI practice with considerable cross-border capabilities. Co-chaired by Gareth Stokes, who also serves as global technology head, the sizeable team advises the full spectrum of AI stakeholders, from global developers to corporate deployers across a range of key industries and sectors. Governance work remains a core focus, with the team helping clients build frameworks aligned with the EU AI Act and similar global regulations. Co-chair Mark O’Conor‘s technical acumen was central to the establishment of the AI practice in 2017.
