Work highlights
Successfully settled a group claim on behalf of 385 customers of TalkTalk in relation to alleged data breaches. It was alleged that the affected customers' personal data, including their names, addresses, dates of birth, email addresses, TalkTalk account numbers, and bank account details, were accessed.
Successfully settled, for a substantial 5-figure sum, an individual data breach claim for a client against the Council and Police after he was wrongly identified as a paedophile and sex tourist.
Currently instructed by Steve Nash in a successful complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) with regard to the refusal of UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) to release information about a 2022 E. coli outbreak, linked to the consumption of contaminated lettuce, which led to more than 250 infections and at least 77 hospitalisations.
