Engaged by an array of clients, from managers and general partners to funds, banks and non-bank lenders, Goodwin is particularly noted for its capabilities in borrower-side transactions. The team also advises clients on asset-backed fund transactions such as loan-on-loan structures for private credit funds. The team is led by Ed Saunders, whose expertise covers subscription lines, umbrella and managed account financings, NAC and hybrid facilities and preferred equity arrangements. He also regularly works with private equity, real estate, debt and infrastructure funds on financing aspects of fundraisings.
