Praised for its ability to be ‘fully aware of the commercial context of any claim’, Kennedys is routinely instructed to assist with product-related defence and coverage litigation, emerging risks on claims involving cyber terrorism and hacking, Bermuda Form arbitration and transactional liability claims. Nick Williams is responsible for leading the practice and is a specialist in an array of multi-jurisdictional (re)insurance litigation. Nick Thomas is the name for energy and power generation claims and David Chadwick is the go-to for political risk matters. Patrick Foss' broad practice covers energy, marine, political violence and property claims. Chris Zavos is active in the Lloyd’s and London markets, and John Bruce leads on the financial institutions and D&O work. Other standout features of the team include Tom Stapleton, who oversees the property, energy and construction team; Carole Vernon, who is experienced in Bermuda Form arbitrations; Tim McCaw and Felicity Ingram are also active members. Ingrid Hobbs departed to Simmons & Simmons  in February 2025.
