Praised for his ability to ‘oversee a range of activities whilst also being able to engage with the minutiae’, Mark Fennessy is very skilled at handling special situations-related matters for investors as well as for asset managers with regard to distressed portfolio companies. In addition, he regularly handles work for GLAS as bond trustee, as does Sunay Radia, who is also closely aligned to private credit fund clients, a growing strength for the firm as a whole. The recent arrival of the ’exceptionally smart’ Alex Wood, following a short stint in academia, and Kathleen Wong, from A&O Shearman, provides additional firepower to a growing team.
