Advising JPMorgan Chase Bank N.A. in its appeal to the Supreme Court to reinstate the Competition Appeal Tribunal’s decision to refuse to certify an opt-out class in proposed collective proceedings arising out of the global forex investigations.
Advising United Utilities in its defence of the first environmental collective proceedings claim brought in the Competition Appeal Tribunal, including success at certification where the Tribunal found that the Proposed Class Representative’s claims were excluded by section 18(8) of the Water Industry Act 1991.
