Combining 'strong technical expertise with a very pragmatic, commercial approach', Mills & Co acts on commodities disputes arising out of charterparties and sale contracts. Members of the team routinely act in international arbitrations and arbitrations under the trade association rules, including LCIA, RSA, GAFTA and FOSFA. The team is jointly led by three lawyers: Neville Hopper, who acts in litigation as well as LMAA and ICC arbitration; Jonathan Green, who advises on slot charter and liner agreement issues; and Alastair Moir, a key adviser to shipowners, charterers, P&I clubs and traders. Christopher Hellstrom-Bartram is experienced in containership casualty matters and bill of lading disputes.
