Clair Dobbin KC represented the successful appellant in El-Khouri v Government of the United States of America, in which the Supreme Court overturned longstanding authority and clarified the approach to double criminality. Rachel Barnes KC and Rebecca Hadgett acted for the requesting government in appellate proceedings concerning the first extradition request brought under the UK–Kuwait Extradition Treaty, in which the Divisional Court upheld the order for extradition.
