Blackstone Chambers act across the full range of employment matters, with particular expertise in cases involving foreign exchange trading, zero hours workers and cross-border enforcement of restrictive covenants, with an emphasis on financial services and regulatory disputes. Leading Celia Rooney, Paul Goulding KC represents the partnership in X-R Touring LLP v Javor,  a case concerning the interpretation of restrictive covenants on appeal to the Court of Appeal. Diya Sen Gupta KC specialises in employee competition, business protection, whistleblowing and discrimination – she and Zafar Ansari recently appeared in the Court of Appeal, representing the employer in HSBC v Chevalier-Firescu, a case concerning the application of limitation provisions under the Equality Act 2010.
