Cobalt

The ‘very responsive and efficient’ EU and Competition practice group at Cobalt has expertise in vertical restraint matters and dominance cases, with a particular emphasis on regulated industries such as energy, banking, and pharmaceuticals. They have been involved in various matters, successfully representing clients in an investigation conducted by the Latvian competition authority, advising on state aid matters with regard to government funding for construction projects, and advising state ministries on the preparation of amendments to a government regulation. The team is led by the experienced Uģis Zeltiņš, who has represented clients before both Latvian courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
