Iberian giant Uría Menéndez handles a high volume of transactions involving or connected to the Latin America region. For decades it has specialised in helping its many Iberian, European and broader international clients in connection with their Latin America interests. Fully entrenched in the region, it has its presence on the ground through Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uria (its associated regional firm which has offices in Colombia, Chile and Peru). A Madrid-based team led by Juan Ignacio González advised Repsol Ibereólica Renovables Chile on the sale to Grenergy Renovables of two portfolios of solar PV projects in Chile. Eduardo Rodríguez-Rovira has led the Latin America team for many years, advising European clients on their Latin American investments, and Latin American clients on their interests in Spain and throughout Europe. Juan Martín Perrotto and Pablo González-Espejo are also experienced in Latin America transactions, with the latter previously heading the Sao Paulo office. All named individuals are based in Madrid.
