DLA Piper LLP (US)‘s Miami office plays a pivotal role in its Latin America practice. Francisco Cerezo is chair of both the US-Latin America practice and the Latin America corporate and finance practice. Robert da Silva Ashley is an energy and infrastructure finance partner, who splits time between Miami and New York; he led the team that advised San Pedro BioEnergy on the project development agreements for the retrofitting and expansion of a 30.5MW renewable energy biofuels cogeneration facility located in the Dominican Republic.
