September 2024 saw Ogier‘s regulatory and white collar offering enhanced by the arrival from Clyde & Co of Rachel Cropper-Mawer, who now leads the firm’s global regulatory practice. The team advises on matters ranging from local licencing applications to competition proceedings, sanctions compliance and matters arising out of bribery and corruption allegations. James Angus, who serves as external counsel to Jersey’s Economic Crime and Confiscation Unit, represents clients when regulatory matters become contentious, and also in their dealings with regulators and the police. Tom Hall utilises his litigation experience to handle white collar and asset tracing proceedings, in addition to assisting with matters linked to insolvencies.
