Work highlights
Defending Chi Mei Corp. against a class action certification motion alleging participation in a global LCD-TFT panel cartel from 2001 to 2006, aimed at fixed prices for flat screen panels. While the motion against other defendants was accepted, Chi Mei successfully had it denied by the district court, and quashed multiple attempts at service of process, defending its position through appeals to the District Court and Supreme Court, resulting in the denial of plaintiff's motions.
Representing Microsoft Corporation, Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Linkedin Ireland Unlimited Company, and Linkedin Corporation in a civil lawsuit at the Tel Aviv District Court, where plaintiffs allege breaches of the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, specifically failure to register databases and infringement of data subjects' rights.
Represented both Partner and 012 Smile in a class action certification motion at the Tel Aviv District Court, followed by an appeal to the Supreme Court. The case involved a class action lawsuit against several internet companies, alleging that they continued to charge "dormant" customers for internet access services even after those customers switched to another provider without actively cancelling their previous service.
