Advised a syndicate of global banks (Société Générale, Credit Agricole, BNP Paribas, Banco Santander, Standard Chartered Bank) on a €1.5bn financing to Miami-based I Squared Capital, a global infrastructure investment manager for the multi-jurisdictional acquisition of Arriva Group, an international transport business of Deutsche Bahn.
Advised the lenders, including European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), in relation to the phase out and closure of the financing by CIB Bank Zrt. as agent of the €750m syndicated credit agreement to AKA Alföld Koncessziós Zrt., as borrower relating to the development, refurbishment, operation and maintenance of the M5 motorway in Hungary.
