Powered by the May 2024 merger of Allen & Overy and Shearman & Sterling, A&O Shearman remains a port of call for corporates in such sectors as energy and entertainment and domestic and multinational financial institutions (including The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, UniCredit and Deutsche Bank) involved in complex, high-value, cross-border structured finance and capital markets transactions. The practice is headed by managing partner Miklós Kádár, who brings expertise to project finance, margin lending and leveraged finance matters; Károly Fóti, a specialist in real estate and solar power projects; Norbert Hete, who handles regulatory compliance matters, in addition to straight debt, covered bond and equity capital market mandates.
