Benefitting from its membership of the Andersen Global network and strategic location in San Pedro Sula, the tax team at Central Law is well positioned to advise major regional and multinational companies, with an emphasis on the retail, agroindustrial, BPO, textiles and non-profit sectors. The broad practice spans tax planning, income and sales tax exemptions, the tax implications of corporate transactions, customs and transfer pricing issues, and litigation. Office managing partner J. Humberto Medina Alva oversees the team, alongside senior associate Jorge Romero, a key adviser on cross-border transactions, special tax regimes and customs matters, and senior tax manager Iliana Salinas, who joined from an in-house role in January 2024.
