Engels Zelaya and Sylvia Zelaya oversee the tax practice at Lexincorp, which works in tandem with the active corporate department to assist both local and international companies with tax and customs issues. The team routinely advises on tax compliance and exemptions, particularly for clients in the construction, telecoms, real estate, manufacturing, health and trade sectors. Office managing partner Benito Zelaya and Nora Amaya are other key names at top level, and the team was bolstered further in January 2025 with the additions of Mariano Torres, an expert in special tax regimes, and associate Ela Rivera, who previously served as head of the legal procurement office in the Tax Administration.
