Ogier handles the spectrum of fund-related matters, assisting sponsors and managers with the structuring and launch of Guernsey-registered investment vehicles, and also works with the firm’s litigators to oversee fund mergers via schemes of arrangement. Heading up the firm’s fund offering are Tim Clipstone, an expert in the structuring of closed and open-ended funds and associated regulations, Bryon Rees, whose client base consists of both private and listed funds, and Richard Sharp, a specialist in cellular structures and their use by the insurance industry and other asset managers. Michelle Watson Bunn and New Zealand-based consultant Michaela Jesson are also noted for their fund structuring expertise.
