Stephenson Harwood advises on refinancing transactions, financing, and loan agreements, frequently acting for lenders. Co‑heading the team, managing partner Dora Mace-Kokota specialises in maritime finance and restructuring for major international financial institutions. Practice co‑head Chris Vartzis is an asset finance specialist handling vessel loan facilities, refinancing, and shipbuilding contracts. Nigel Bowen-Morris focuses on sale‑and‑leaseback deals and secured loan facilities for Greek and international banks. Other key team members include Stynos Antoniades, active in cross‑border financings, and Nefeli Christodoulou, who advises on refinancing of second‑hand vessels.
