Acting for Kroll, joint official liquidators of SIFCO5, in this landmark US$9.2 billion fraud claim against Maan Al-Sanea arising from the financial crisis. Following the longest trial in Cayman Islands history and the longest Commonwealth appeal, the Court of Appeal ruled decisively for defendants. SIFCO5 reached settlement with AHAB in July 2024 after multi-jurisdictional negotiations.
