The ‘very competent, very technical’ team at Goodwin is well-placed to assist investors, portfolio companies and management teams alike on mid-cap LBOs and public-to-private transactions for French and overseas private equity funds. The practice group is directed by Maxence Bloch, who specialises in M&A, private equity transactions, and litigation. Also noted is Thomas Maitrejean, who handles cross-border M&A and growth equity investments. A recent mandate of note saw the group advise the management team of the Evoriel Group on the acquisition from Nexity by Bridgepoint. Arnaud Fromion and Frédéric Guilloux left the firm in December 2024.
