Work highlights

Successfully represented Mylan Ireland Limited and Viatris Oy in a preliminary injunction case related to Biogen’s patent concerning dimethyl fumarate (Biogen’s brand name Tecfidera®), where the Market Court dismissed Biogen’s application for preliminary injunction as Viatris had sufficiently challenged the presumption of validity of the patent-in-suit.
Represented AB Enzymes Finland Oy, a subsidiary of Associated British Foods, in pending employment invention compensation proceedings at the Market Court concerning inventors' alleged further rights for compensation for patented inventions amounting to over 20 million euros.
Represented Soda-Club (CO2) and SodaStream International B.V. in a trademark infringement dispute against MySoda before the Market Court and Supreme Court, where the case was referred to the CJEU for a preliminary ruling on trademark exhaustion (C-197/21), resulting in SodaStream successfully obtaining compensation and damages from MySoda.
