Lexincorp‘s varied workload often includes administrative tax disputes, but this extends to alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration. The group appears in local courts, including sanctioning court, as well as in appeal courts. Seasoned litigator Enrique Escobar and senior associate Marcela Cea spearhead the group. Cea joined from government offices in August 2024, while Escobar is highly active in disputes in sectors such as banking and retail. Associate Fernando Recinos’ former role at the Supreme Court of Justice leaves him well placed to handle a range of civil, administrative and commercial disputes. Former practice co-head Kevin Vargas left the practice in July 2024.
