Representing one of the leading financial services companies in Egypt, in a number of cases (exceeding 60 cases) and their subsequent enforcements against their debtor one of the tourism tycoons of Egypt with a debt arising from 20+ financial leasing contracts and a debt exceeding EGP2bn.
Resisting the enforcement of a GAFTA award against our client who works in importing and distributing agricultural commodities in Egypt. We managed to secure the rejection of the court to attach an exequatur to the arbitration award and the proceedings are currently in the appeal phase.
