Co-led by partners Romina Santroni and Guily Shemer, the real estate and tourism practice at Santroni Parsons is currently handling two of the largest developments in the sector, each with $1bn-plus investments. The seven-strong team provides advisory services to the client on an extensive range of matters, including: tax exemptions, urban planning, land use, development permits, environmental compliance and audits, and community relations. Name partner Santroni heads up the environmental, real estate and hospitality practice and frequently handles the full range of environmental mattes along with social conflicts, land planning, resort development and tourism, along with land-use matters related to the extractive industries. Managing partner of the firm’s Punta Cana desk (and so responsible for all clients located in the east of the country), next generation partner Shemer focused on environmental, urban and land use matters, as well as corporate work.
