Work highlights
Defended Bech-Bruun, one of Denmark’s largest law firms, through its professional liability insurer, against a claim for damages estimated at DKK 1.35 billion from the Danish tax authorities concerning legal advice provided by Bech-Bruun to a German bank, North Channel Bank, in 2014.
Acting in litigation counsel to Nordea in one of the largest AML criminal cases will begin in the Copenhagen City Court in May 2025 and is expected to run over the next 13 months, including 75 days in court. Nordea is charged with violating the Danish AML act, including double-digit billion worth of transactions.
Represented Kg BidCo ApS, which is owned by the major private equity fund FSN Capital, in proceedings before the Western High Court concerning a damage claim of approx. EUR 87 million against the Swedish private equity fund Procuritas, among others, in relation to the fraudulent sale of Danish company Gram Equipment in 2017.
