The dispute resolution practice at BDV Law Firm LLP is well known in the market for its multi-disciplinary approach to contentious and litigious matters. The firm have recently been engaged representing clients in complex corporate and arbitration proceedings, along with a growing number of real estate disputes. The team represent a variety of clients, from a leading Croatian real estate property developer and a transportation startup to geothermal energy plants and leading IT firms. Other notable work includes shareholder disputes, regulatory court cases, damages and reimbursement proceedings, and administrative proceedings against public authorities. The team is headed by Vladimir Batarelo, who advises clients primarily on tax disputes, and Laurenz Vuchetich, who brings strength to disputes in the energy sector. The team has also recently been bolstered by the arrival of Andrijana Capan. Former team co-head Ivan Dvojkovic has since departed the firm.
