The team handles a high volume of trade mark and patent filings on behalf of international clients, and also has in-depth expertise in complex copyright and image rights issues and data protection. IP enforcement and litigation are also among the firm’s areas of strength. The team is headed by managing partner Sebastián Jiménez, an experienced litigator, and Jessica Ward, whose practice spans data privacy, compliance programmes, patent prosecution and regional trade mark portfolio management, with particularly strong knowledge of IP issues in the Caribbean.
