In addition, the team provides ongoing advice on ESG-related legislation and regulatory frameworks to regional and international companies operating in Costa Rica. Carlos Ubico leads the practice, combining expertise in administrative, environmental, energy and projects law, while senior counsel Luis Diego Obando frequently advises on the permitting processes and environmental compliance issues related to project development.
