The July 2025 merger between local firm Gómez-Pinzón Abogados and incoming Spanish heavyweight Pérez-Llorca is expected to bolster the Colombian entity’s TMT practice, increasing its access to major multinational clients. The interdisciplinary group is already noted for its sound regulatory offering, which is particularly active in advising domestic and foreign corporations on regulations concerning data protection, AI, cybersecurity, consumer law and TMT law. Following the departure of former practice director Andrés Fernández De Castro in February 2025, Mauricio Jaramillo Campuzano, whose work spans IP, competition and TMT, is sole head of the practice. Key support is porvided by associate Andrés Meza (TMT, privact, entertainment & sports law), who recently completed his LLM.
