Cuatrecasas’ growing real estate practice added seven new clients during 2024/25, including leading retail chain D1. Striking a balance between real estate development and transactions, the team is well versed in zoning and planning matters, construction projects, investment deals, and sale-and-purchase transactions. Following the June 2025 departure of practice co-head (and next generation partner) Camilo Cardona, Felipe Mariño, whose work intersects real estate, corporate, and M&A, is currently sole head of the practice. Key support is provided by principal associate Laura Pinzón, who focuses on urban planning and real estate transactional matters.
