Godoy’s international customs and foreign trade law practice leverages the firm’s formidable tax expertise to specialise in advising on customs tax issues, including tax planning, regulatory compliance and litigation. Among its other areas of activity, the group is equipped to advise on free-trade agreements and free zones. The department is co-led by founding partner Juan Pablo Godoy, whose focus spans tax, international trade, and energy and natural resources law; and newly promoted (February 2025) Gustavo Lorenzo, who concentrates on customs, exchange and foreign trade matters. Senior associate Nicolás Torres provides dedicated practice support.
