Committed to advising clients throughout the entire innovation lifecycle, ClarkeModet Colombia’s team demonstrates robust capabilities in IP prosecution, portfolio management and litigation. During 2024/25, the firm sent out a statement of intent with a series of key hires. In November 2024, it appointed Juan Felipe Acosta — formerly head of litigation at OlarteMoure — as its new country managing director, while also bringing in new legal services director, Nathalia Nieto, from the same firm; both contribute particular experience in IP litigation. At senior associate level, the team further welcomed IP specialist David Casadiego, who joined from production company Proimagenes in December 2024. Other key contacts include Juliana Gonzalez, who advises on patents, utility models, industrial designs and plant varieties; and Miguel Rujana, who specialises in trade mark law. Former country managing director Silvia Patiño departed for Graphite in September 2024.
